Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese heritage and was born during the war in Vietnam. The father of her Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family which has long-standing roots in the American South. Olivia was only two when her parents divorced. Her family consisted of both her mother and stepfather who was a United States Air Force member. The family emigrated to Oklahoma, and lived in different locations, however she lived the majority of her childhood in Tokyo. While in Japan, she was an actress at local theatre performances, and later became an Japanese models for fashion. Olivia relocated to Los Angeles after the family's return to this part of the United States. She pursued the dream of becoming an actor. She started her acting career by playing a minor part. Then, her career gained momentum when she was cast in the role of Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television series Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she appeared as Rob Schneider's Receptionist. She hosts the popular podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut" along with "The Daily Nut". It is her favorite pastime as she has practiced it ever since she appeared on the television show Beyond the Break (2006). Black belts are hers in the martial art of taekwondo. In the year 2000, when she turned two years of age, her mother remarried. Though the family relocating many times throughout her life, she was born in Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather's military was stationed. She attended at the University of Oklahoma, where she majored in journalism and minored in Japanese as well as dramatic arts.
